When I was a kid, I often wondered how to tell if something was “really” happening—what actually makes something real.

I’d have emotions, thoughts and even physical sensations—like a change in my heart rate, my breathing—in response to stuff that happened in the supposed “real world.”

But then, when I imagined something, I’d also experience emotions and sensations.

So what was different between what was happening out there in “reality” versus something I imagined or dreamt? All of that felt “real” too—and my body sure acted like it.

And now scientists and high-performance coaches tell us that if elite athletes—or even extremely high-performance individuals who operate under intense stress, like the Blue Angels pilots flying supersonic jets in impossibly tight formations at breathtaking speeds—imagine themselves achieving a result over and over again, their bodies believe it’s real. They’ll be much more able to produce that result when it counts.

They’re more likely to run that race at a world-record pace. To perform their formations in perfect coordination, without accidents.

Even for actors, researchers have discovered that in the act of vigorous pretending, the body perceives what’s happened as if it actually occurred—not merely in “their imagination.”

So if your body and mind are under the impression that the imagined is real—but “it didn’t really happen”—what in fact is real?

In this episode, we dive into exactly that. What is real? How is what appears to be real actually created? And whether the rules of how we interface with reality are really what they seem to be.

And of course I’ve created a special GFC just for this episode—all about releasing your attachment to who you think you are.

Why? Because the limitations of what you think is your identity keep you emanating the same resonance—which means you keep creating the same problems, the same people, the same level of scarcity, over and over again.

And unless you’re stubbornly holding onto the way things are now, and want NOTHING to change, this GFC will help shift things up in resonance.

Once you’ve had a chance to watch or listen, if you found this conversation thought-provoking, please drop me a like!

Let’s rise together!®

SUMMARY:

What if reality isn’t as fixed as you think? In this episode of Mastering Your World Through Frequencies®, Fiona and I explore the surprisingly blurry line between imagination and reality—and what that means for your ability to create change in your life.

Backed by science and grounded in frequency work, this conversation will make you rethink everything you assume about what’s real, what’s possible, and who you think you are.
