I’ve always loved TV shows about interior design makeovers.

They take these spaces that are sad at best, and with some paint, wallpaper, light fixture replacement and some light remodel magic (or heavy, depending on the show) the space is completely transformed in the big reveal.

I love seeing the potential of a space realized, and how different they can feel with some very simple changes.

It’s one of the things that I used to love to do for our seller clients when we were real estate agents in San Francisco. We’d advise them on what to do, they’d invest a few thousand dollars (almost never more than $10K), I’d coordinate all the work. After all was complete, depending on the value of the place, the neighborhood it was in, and a bunch of other factors the sellers would yield $100K to $150K and even up to $200K more on the sale price than they would have if they hadn’t agreed to do the work.

Every. Time.

It was extremely satisfying.

What is in our physical environment very much impacts how we feel, from how many things are in it to the colors on the walls and whether things work or not.

In today’s episode (#109) Dennis and I talk about the unexpected impact of our physical environment on us, how the spaces we live in both affect and reflect our internal state and how the condition of our physical environments can slow us down or foster growth.

The free GFC (Group FREQUENCY CALIBRATION®) will help to begin to release the distortion patterns that cause you to be more susceptible to your physical space.

Without removing these distortion patterns it’s harder for us to hold our center.

Let’s rise together!

SUMMARY:

  • The quality and quantity of what’s in our physical spaces — homes, offices, and cars — impacts how we feel. Physical clutter can make us feel heavy. It can also affect our inner state. People with a lot of stuff in their environment tend to have a lot in their minds, resulting in an excess of mind chatter.
  • Our spaces both reflect and condition us — you are a reflection of your spaces and them of you. They can affect our frequency vibration, especially when our environment is filled with “tolerances”: little things that don’t work quite right but that we put up with. Wobbly knobs, squeaky doors, etc.
  • These tolerances impact you from a frequency standpoint. As they pile up in your environment, they dovetail into frequency patterns of low self-worth and non-deserving. The more you put off fixing them, the more they lower your frequency vibration. And then you have to exert more effort to buoy your vibration and overcome their impact.
  • When you’re not rested, eating well, and feeling good — this is when those little tolerances negatively impact you even more.
  • As you ascend in vibration, you become more able to be in a greater number of environments. But you’ll notice that you don’t want to be in an environment that’s less than your vibration. And the universe starts to conspire to bring something to you that matches your resonance.
  • In a home office, you can condition with intention. Take out some of the clutter. Create a foundation that’s nourishing to your work. Make functional upgrades for a smoother, more optimal experience.
  • It all comes down to patterns of low self-worth and non-deserving. These patterns have a huge impact on how we maintain our physical spaces. Ultimately, you want your space to be equal or higher than your resonation, so that you can entrain up to it.
