I walked into the gymnasium and sat in my assigned seat.

There was a booklet and paper in front of me. “Turn your papers over, please. Your exam begins now.”

But nothing on the page made sense. I didn’t even know what I was being tested on.

My heart started to beat hard.

Then I’d jolt myself awake.

I used to have that anxiety nightmare when I was feeling stressed out. Sometimes, when I hadn’t even consciously registered that I was worried. Most of us have felt anxious about something or someone at some point, but it seems like anxiety is really on the rise, not just among adults, but among teenagers, too. And it can be totally debilitating.
