I remember the first time I participated in ceremony.

It was in New Zealand, led by a powerful elder grandmother. I had never been in ceremony before, and I totally did not know what it was all about and what I was supposed to do.

It was a bit stressful, actually, because I was concerned that I might do something unintentionally buffoon-ish, and perhaps cause insult to this grandmother who was very much in her own authority—yet surprising to me, was also completely in surrender and following what was unfolding.

Since I didn’t know any better, I followed suit.

And in that surrender, without expectations about what was happening, magic ensued.

There is a rise of ceremonies these days. Cacao ceremonies are common, and it seems there are invitations to participate in a vast array of other types of ceremonies, too.

But is all ceremony the same?

In this week’s episode, we dive into what true ceremony is, the purpose of it, how it can have so much power and invoke so much connection, and what you can do to create meaningful moments of ceremony in your life.

The Group Frequency Calibration® (GFC) associated with this episode will begin to help you clear the distortion around ceremony and establish some of that feeling of greater connection that can happen in true ceremony.

Without clearing these distortion patterns, we can miss out on what can be some powerful, key moments.

Let’s rise together!™

Sitting in ceremony seems to be really popular these days. From the rise of cacao ceremonies to cleansing ceremonies to full moon ceremonies, ceremony is often seen as synonymous with “spiritual”.

But is it necessarily what we think it is? Where does the power of ceremony really come from?

In this episode, we discuss what true ceremony is, why it can be so powerful, and what to look out for when you participate in ceremony.
